 US Wings is proud to offer our line of Sgt. Hack "Battle Tested"™ Khakis! They're named after our CEO, Sgt. David Hack, a battle tested Vietnam vet. And because they carry his name, you can be sure they are the finest khakis in the world! They are also the most authentic as well. Our khaki shirts and pants, which are based on original WWII USAAF pants and shirts, are the only true military patterned khakis we've seen. Others may claim to be authentic, but ours really are! Our khakis are extremely durable too; in fact, they may be the last khakis you'll need to buy (we don't call 'em "battle tested" for nothing)! From the urban jungle to the rugged outback, our khakis are versatile enough to handle it all. Perfect for casual wear, with a tie for semi-dressy occasions, or for the true adventurer or outdoorsman.

 The phrase "They don't make 'em like that anymore" doesn't apply to our Sgt. Hack "Battle Tested"™ Khaki trousers. In fact, we make 'em just like they did 70 years ago. Following the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" dictum, our khaki pants are patterned after the classic WWII US Army and USAAF originals -- with the proper, and slightly trimmer, military fit. After all, they were good enough for General MacArthur! These no-nonsense plain-front khaki pants feature deep drill-cloth pockets, heavy duty brass zipper, and rugged construction throughout. Don't let the low price fool you -- these khaki pants, like all the other khaki items in our "Battle Tested" line, are the finest in the world.
Note: the pants come with a small hem to prevent unraveling. Measure, cut, and re-hem them to your desired length.
To prevent excessive shrinkage, wash in cold water and drip-dry only.

These are the perfect pants for your next outback adventure! Has the same high quality construction as our plain-front khakis, but features button flapped rear pockets and two additional "cargo" pockets on the front. Unlike other "cargo pants" which feature huge bellows pockets, our cargo pockets are smaller and tastefully discreet, making these pants stylish enough for an evening at the pub, but rugged enough for wilderness exploring.
Note: the pants come with a small hem to prevent unraveling. Measure, cut, and re-hem them to your desired length.
To prevent excessive shrinkage, wash in cold water and drip-dry only.

Our British Khaki Cargo Pants are the perfect pants for your next outback adventure! Has the same high quality construction as our standard khakis cargo pants, but in a British khaki color. "British Khaki" is darker and "browner" than our standard khaki color (see color comparison below). Features include two front "slash" pockets, two button-flapped front cargo pockets, and two button-flapped rear pockets. Unlike traditional "cargo pants" which feature huge bellows pockets, our cargo pockets are smaller and tastefully discreet, making these pants stylish enough for an evening at the pub, but rugged enough for wilderness exploring.

Features two pleated button-flapped chest pockets (with pen slot in left pocket flap), slightly tailored fit, and epaulets like the original Army and Air Corps shirts. Available in long- or short-sleeve versions.
Note: these shirts run one size small; please order one size larger than your normal size.

There have been many versions of the four-pocket safari/bush jacket, but ours is a true classic! Since the 1930s, the bush jacket has been the favorite of adventurers, explorers, hunters and outdoorsmen. It was also worn by Hollywood legends in a number of classic motion pictures. The jacket's design is as functional as it is stylish, and we offer ours in both long and short sleeve versions. Our jacket is both water and abrasion resistant and features two large chest pockets and two lower bellowed cargo pockets to carry all your gear. The button epaulets allow you to securely sling a bag, camera, or pair of binoculars over your shoulder, and the long sleeve version has button-cuffs which can be rolled-up or worn down for full protection. The jacket also features a removeable waist belt, and a bi-swing back for unrestricted freedom of movement. This is one of those timeless pieces of clothing that transcends the fickle trends of fashion and will keep you looking good well into the new millennium.

G.I. Pith Helmet

These are genuine US Military pith helmets (1940s - 1960s era), not imported reproductions. They are in unissued, brand new condition. We were lucky enough to locate a supply of these helmets in a warehouse, and are making them available to our customers. Traditionally used by the colonial forces of Europe, India, Africa and the US, it was also widely used by missionaries, archaeologists, adventurers, and anyone else living in, or traveling to, the tropics. Original pith helmets were made from pith bark, from which the helmet derives its name. Over the years, construction and materials were improved, making it one of the most practical types of hot weather headwear. Pith helmets provide excellent protection from the sun, and the adjustable one size fits all web headband allows cooling air to circulate around the top and sides of the head, aided by multiple side vents. This is the same type commonly worn by US forces stationed in the Pacific during WWII. Perfect for camping, hiking, gardening, safaris, or any other outdoor activity. Available with or without USAAF or USMC cap device. Genuine US Military-issue, in unissued condition. Simulated top vent cap and puggaree band molded into helmet. Front chin strap on brim.
